SIB: Social Innovation for Business
Writer for the entire site, content strategist, proofreader
In the summer of 2020 Hitachi, a huge corporation, created a fast-moving, get-er-done, semi-independent unit offering expertise, fresh ideas, and even factory resources to start-ups as well as any growing business. The name: SIB: Social Innovation for Business. The staff: just 4 people. Myself, our creative director, the site designer, and our team leader Norio Hasegawa-san, a hard-working Hitachi company man headquartered, poor guy, in northern Minnesota.
Some basics of the site were established by the time I joined. Then we four built the entire thing, from deciding content, strategy, look and feel, to writing persuasive case studies. A featured element was SaaS (Software as a Service). Additionally, we designed the site with plenty of scope for future expansion. It has. Of course changes have taken place in the past five years, but the current version here certainly represents our work. I believe Hasegawa-san was promoted out of Minnesota.
